The
tag line inspired by real events drew me to Tanmay Dubey's The
Red Line and I am glad that I picked it up. This book is a murder
mystery.
The
defence minister Rakesh Kumar dies as he comes out of the metro. What
seemingly appears to be a heart attack is a murder or that is what
the police officer Hanuman Shastri feels. Unfortunately things don't
end with a single murder. All the persons who were travelling with
the minister are murdered. Why? Who is murdering them? To know more
you have to read The Red Line by Tanmay Dubey.
The
writing is simple yet intriguing. I loved the way the author weaves
together seemingly different incidents and builds up suspense. There
are ample twists and turns in the story that keep you glued to your
seats. The author succeeds in bringing out a a page turner. The
language is simple and lucid. Don't miss this book.
